Fishing Bear Lodge: Guide Positions Available

“Fishing Bear Lodge, a small family operation located in the heart of Alaska’s Wood-Tikchik State Park has guide positions available this 2017 season! Fishing Bear Lodge specializes in catering personalized experiences for their guests. As a “small” operation Fishing Bear staff are an integral part of ALL happenings at the Lodge, from fueling the boats, guiding on pristine rivers and streams, to enjoying dinner and conversation with guests, and helping clean-up after dinners. Yes, these can be long hour days, but having the opportunity to fish in places untouched since the last season and guide under the midnight sun is without rival. Fishing Bear staff work as a cohesive group, we maintain a positive and hard-working, attitude and atmosphere on and off the river and would expect the same from any new member of our team. At the lodge we also maintain a very clean and healthy environment not only for our guests but also for all of us. Therefore we do not tolerate smoking, drinking to excess or drugs.

Fishing Bear Lodge would require any new guide to have a United States Coast Guard Captains License, (OUPV). Guide Season: June 15th- October 1rst
FOR ALL INQUIRES: Please contact Conner and Justin Johns, with a personal character description and fishing photos.”
