Big Sky Anglers, LLC is a specialty fly fishing retailer, full-service outfitting and travel company in West Yellowstone, Montana.  Located at the west gate of Yellowstone National Park, this remote mountain town is surrounded by national park and forests. West Yellowstone is in the heart of fly-fishing country surrounded by world-class fisheries such as the Madison, Henry’s Fork and Yellowstone rivers.  Big Sky Anglers is looking for a dedicated and reliable Inventory Manager to join our team. This business has a six-month, high volume, sales time frame. This is a year round position. The main responsibilities in this position will be to order and monitor inventory. Producing reports on inventory levels.  This person will also be part of the store sales team during high season.
This position requires the applicant to be a trustworthy professional with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret inventory data. The position requires transporting inventory up and downstairs, and standing for long periods of time.  This person will work closely with the accounting manager to reconcile actual inventory to book inventory and work with the three owners in ordering merchandise for the store and e-commerce site.

Responsibilities:
Process inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
Examine the levels of inventory to determine shortages.
Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for purchase or shipment.
Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
Efficient ordering to avoid excessive surplus.
Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals
Implement and Manage E Commerce store.  Pick, Pack, and Ship
Requirements
Three years point of sale retail experience.  Lightspeed experience a plus.
A passion for fly fishing.
Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Required Computer Skills
Microsoft Excel – full command of this program
Basic HTML coding knowledge and web design
Photoshop experience not required but a strong plus, photo editing software skills relating to web use a must
DSLR Camera knowledge is a plus
