Bristol Adventures offer summer job opportunities at our lodges in and around Katmai National Park and at our flight service station located in King Salmon, Alaska. We seek skillful, high energy, people-oriented staff persons for unique Eco-tourism and sport-fishing based travel. Most of our seasonal opportunities run from late May through mid-September with some jobs extending into October.
Approximate Season Dates: May 20 – September 18
Brooks Lodge operates under a Concessions Contract with the National Park Service and is the busiest of the three lodges. Lodging capacity at Brooks is for 64 guests. In addition there is a campground for 60 people nearby and Brooks is also a popular fly in destination for day trips that include fishing and bear viewing.
Bartender: Serves beverages during afternoon and evening hours at the lodge. Responsible for stocking and maintaining control of the bar area and assuring that all State of Alaska beverage dispensary laws are being followed. Must be able to operate a cash register, is responsible for cash accountability and must have a site specific TAP card. Other duties include cleaning the bar and lounge area at closing. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
