Mud Hole Custom Tackle: Retail and Customer Service Manager Position Available


Mud Hole Custom Tackle is the world’s largest supplier of custom fishing rod building components, including rod blanks, reel seats, guides, tip-tops, cork grips, reels, apparel & fly-tying supplies.

Responsibilities: Supervise areas of Merchandising and Customer Service. Develop creative plans to increase store sales and ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience. Hire, train, supervise and develop a team of focused sales professionals. Manage the daily activity of the sales floor, backroom, front end, cash office and customer service. Ensures sales teams are retaining customers through positive customer relationship building, diffusing customer escalations and utilizing strong listening skills to resolve customer complaints.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Ability to read, write, understand and speak the English language clearly. Have good visual acuity and hearing. Proven ability to lead and motivate others. Detail oriented and a good problem solver, High comfort level with computer and software applications. Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks/projects and handle change effectively. Consistently demonstrates excellent leadership and coaching skills to create a motivated work environment where employees can excel.

Experience in implementing sales training and employee development programs preferred.

Likely candidate should enjoy fishing and outdoor pursuits.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE 5 to 10 years Management experience, 5 to 10 years Sales/Customer Service experience
