South Holston River Lodge: Breakfast Chef-Dinner Chef Position Available

This position is at a high end all inclusive fly fishing lodge. We have a need for this new position to give our current Executive Chef and our Breakfast Chef adequate time off. Our full service packages run March – November and this is a seasonal part time position. Candidate will start February 20th

Qualified candidates must have a great attitude and must be punctual.

Excellent social skills and great communication is needed for this position

This position offers 4 shifts, 2 dinner and 2 breakfast

Breakfast shift starts at 6:00am and ends depending on # of guests

· Works under the executive chef

Responsible for preparing breakfast each morning

Buffet Style breakfast for anywhere from 2-12 guests

Standard buffet with a special each day

Breakfast meats, yogurt, cereal, eggs to order etc.

· Responsible for preparing lunch each day for the following day depending on # of guests

· Keep a list together of food and other kitchen equipment needed

· Must keep kitchen clean and follow all health code standards

· You will be working closely with the guests in the morning and a positive and cheerful attitude is a must.

· Must be able to consistently get up early

Dinner Chef,

Shift Begins at 1pm and ends around 8-8:30pm

You will be responsible to prepare a 4 course dinner…Appetizers.Salad, Entree, Dessert

Dinner menu is a previously set menu and 2 choices are offered

· Must keep kitchen clean and follow all health code standards

· You will be working closely with the guests and a positive and cheerful attitude is a must.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $10.00 to $12.00 /hour

Experience:

  • relevant: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Cooking: 2 years (Preferred)
  • line cook: 2 years (Preferred)
